En 1910 se construyó el viejo ayuntamiento como oficina de registro civil. El edificio neoclásico, así como el edificio anexo - la antigua casa de Maassen - se utilizaron como ayuntamiento hasta 1993. Hoy en día, el edificio es utilizado por Caritas. Los otros espacios se utilizan como centro sociocultural. Aún se puede celebrar una boda en la primera planta del viejo ayuntamiento en un ambiente histórico.
