Im Jahr 1910 wurde das alte Rathaus als Amtsbürgerei erbaut. Das klassizistische Gebäude sowie das Nebengebäude - ehemaliges Wohnhaus Maassen - wurden bis 1993 als Rathaus genutzt. Heute wird das Gebäude von der Caritas genutzt. Die übrigen Räume werden als sozio-kulturelles Zentrum genutzt. Immer noch kann in der ersten Etage des alten Rathauses in historischem Ambiente geheiratet werden.
