Sot de Ferrer es un municipio y localidad española de la provincia de Castellón, en la Comunidad Valenciana. Perteneciente a la comarca del Alto Palancia, cuenta con una población de 429 habitantes .
El término municipal de Sot de Ferrer tiene una extensión de 8,60 km² siendo atravesado por el río Palancia. El término se encuentra en el valle del río, que aquí empieza su curso bajo, siendo la última localidad que aún ve pasar agua por el cauce en condiciones normales. El casco urbano se encuentra muy cercano al curso fluvial a una altitud de 230 metros. Se ubica en el camino natural que une Aragón con la Comunidad Valenciana, al sur de la provincia de Castellón.
