Alhaurín el Grande es un municipio español, vecino de Alhaurín de la Torre, en la provincia de Málaga, en la comunidad autónoma de Andalucía. Está situado en el centro-sur de la provincia, dentro de la comarca del Valle del Guadalhorce y del partido judicial de Coín.Su término municipal ocupa una extensión de 73,1 km² que se extienden por la ladera norte de la Sierra de Mijas y la vega del río Guadalhorce, donde se alternan los cultivos de cítricos y otros frutales con huertas. La población alcanza los 24.751 habitantes, según datos del padrón de 2017. Limita con Coín, Cártama, Alhaurín de la Torre y Mijas.
