Caleruega es un municipio[1] y localidad situado en la provincia de Burgos, comunidad autónoma de Castilla y León , dentro de la comarca de La Ribera del Duero. Pertenece al partido judicial de Aranda de Duero.
La importancia histórica del municipio radica en ser la cuna de Santo Domingo de Guzmán, fundador de la Orden de Predicadores y del Santo Rosario.
