Almonacid de Zorita es un municipio español de la provincia de Guadalajara, en la comunidad autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha. Se encuentra en la comarca de La Alcarria y tiene 760 habitantes .
El río Tajo discurre por su término municipal, en el que se encuentran los embalses de Bolarque, donde se origina el trasvase Tajo-Segura en la confluencia con el río Guadiela, y de la Bujeda y la central nuclear José Cabrera, ya clausurada.
