Vall de Bas[1] es un municipio español de la provincia de Gerona, en Cataluña. Perteneciente a la comarca de La Garrocha, se encuentra situado en la cabecera del río Fluviá, rodeado por las sierras del Corb, de Sant Miquel, de Llancers y por el Puigsacalm .
Castaños, robles, encinas y hayedos son los principales árboles que se encuentran en su territorio. La economía de Vall de Bas es la agricultura mayormente de secano y especialmente de maíz, el regadío consta de frutas y hortalizas. Ganadería bovina, ovina y porcina con industria relacionada de embutidos. Tiene un gran turismo residencial.
