Desde este mirador podemos contemplar la Cala del Codolar a la vez que podemos ver a lo lejos la playa Grande de Tossa de Mar, separadas por la Muralla de Tossa. Existen unas escaleras desdel mirador D'es Cars que llevan directamente a la arena de la Cala del Codolar. Desde la Cala cabe la posibilidad de aventurarse por las rocas hasta llegar a una roca llamada por la gente del pueblo "la Tallada", ya que parece que haya sido cortada, desde donde los más valientes pueden saltar desde 8 metros de altura.
