La Galera es un municipio de la comunidad autónoma de Cataluña, España. Perteneciente a la provincia de Tarragona y en la comarca del Montsiá.
Aunque no ha podido probarse de un modo documental, algunos historiadores creen que la Galera tiene un origen romano.
