Novelda es un municipio de España situado en el interior de la provincia de Alicante, en la comarca del Medio Vinalopó. Conocido por su producción de uva y el comercio de especias y mármol, la localidad contaba con 25 741 habitantes en 2020 .
Integrado en la comarca de Medio Vinalopó, se encuentra situado a 12 kilómetros de la capital comarcal, Elda, a 18 kilómetros de Elche y a 28 kilómetros de Alicante . El término municipal está atravesado por la autovía de Alicante A-31 , que integra la carretera N-330 entre los pK 23 y 29, así como por la carretera N-325 , que permite la comunicación con Aspe y Crevillente.
