Las Murallas del Revellín son los restos de las fortificaciones que tuvo la ciudad de Logroño, de las que se conserva la puerta orientada al oeste. El proceso más importante de fortificación de la ciudad se produjo entre 1498 y 1540, reforzándose la antigua muralla medieval.
Tras el levantamiento comunero, las tropas de Francisco I de Francia comandadas por el General Asparrot asediaron la ciudad el 25 de mayo de 1521 siendo el capitán Vélez de Guevara quien organizó la defensa. Pero la muralla y puerta hoy visibles comenzaron a construírse en 1522,[1] un año después del asedio.
