La Cámara Junior Internacional es una de las mayores organizaciones juveniles en todo el mundo. Se trata de una comunidad internacional de ciudadanos de entre 18 y 40 con el objetivo y el propósito de crear un cambio positivo en el mundo. La organización cree que estos cambios deben resultar de tomar una "acción colectiva para mejorar ellos mismos y el mundo que les rodea." Aunque contiene un elemento religioso en su credo oficial, la JCI no promueve ni se involucra en cualquier actividad religiosa.
Las Organizaciones Nacionales afiliadas a la JCI funcionan en unas 5.000 ciudades situados en unas 110 naciones y territorios. Tiene en torno a 200 000 miembros.
