La Primera Batalla de Castalla tuvo lugar el 21 de julio de 1812 como parte de la Guerra de la Independencia Española, y enfrentó a la división francesa del general Jean Isidore Harispe contra el ejército español comandado por Joseph O'Donnell. Mal concebido, el plan de batalla español fracasó y los franceses, superados en número, lograron romper el centro del enemigo antes de que las columnas derecha e izquierda pudieran intervenir. El enfrentamiento tuvo lugar cerca de la localidad de Castalla, a 32 km al noroeste de Alicante.
