La antigua cárcel de Yeserías se encuentra ubicada en distrito de Arganzuela .[1] La denominación actual del centro honra a la jurista española Victoria Kent. El edificio fue construido a finales de la década de 1920 como asilo de mendigos. No se convirtió en centro de reclusión hasta la posguerra, cuando las nuevas autoridades franquistas lo habilitaron como centro de reclusión de presos políticos conocido como cárcel de Yeserías. Estuvo en servicio como prisión de mujeres hasta 1991, fecha en la fue remodelada pasando a ser un centro de inserción social para presos en régimen abierto con una ocupación media de 280 presos.
