Valdefuentes es un municipio español, en la provincia de Cáceres, Comunidad Autónoma de Extremadura. Pertenece al partido judicial de Cáceres y a la mancomunidad de Montánchez.
Los orígenes de este municipio se remontan a la Edad del Bronce y en sus alrededores hubo también una intensa colonización romana como atestiguan los restos de lápidas funerarias encontradas en los parajes de Valdelagrulla, Palacios, Majanos y Majales.
