Zumaya[1][2] es una localidad y municipio de la provincia de Guipúzcoa, en la comunidad autónoma del País Vasco en España. Está situado a orillas del mar y de la ría donde confluyen los ríos Urola y Narrondo. Situado en la parte noroccidental de la comarca de Urola Costa, al norte limita con el mar Cantábrico, al sur con las dos Arroas, con Ibañarrieta y con Cestona. Al este, con Guetaria y, al oeste, con Elorriaga y el barrio de Icíar perteneciente al municipio de Deva.
