Toledo es una provincia española de la comunidad autónoma de Castilla-La Mancha, con capital en la ciudad homónima de Toledo. Cuenta con una población de 703 772 habitantes , repartidos en 204 municipios. El río Tajo, que pasa por las ciudades de Toledo y Talavera de la Reina, cruza la provincia de este a oeste abriendo a su paso un ancho valle, que deja al norte la sierra de San Vicente y al sur los Montes de Toledo. En el sureste de la provincia se extiende la llanura manchega. Toledo limita al norte con Ávila y Madrid, al este con Cuenca, al sur con Ciudad Real, al suroeste con Badajoz y al oeste con Cáceres.
