Esade es una institución académica privada de educación superior fundada en 1958, con campus en Barcelona y Madrid, y presente en todo el mundo a través de acuerdos de colaboración con 185 universidades y escuelas de negocios. Actualmente gestiona tres áreas formativas:[1]
Fundada en 1958 por iniciativa de un grupo de empresarios y de la Compañía de Jesús,[3] inicialmente se creó una Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas en Barcelona. En sus inicios, la escuela instaló su sede en el Pasaje Josep Llovera de Barcelona. En 1983 se ampliaron las instalaciones al campus a Avenida de Pedralbes.
