El Carrer Major es una obra del Pont de Suert incluida en el Inventario del Patrimonio Arquitectónico de Cataluña.
Calle principal de la villa, formado por la agrupación de casas menestrales entre medianeras adosadas a la antigua trama urbana. Las edificaciones, de dos a tres plantas de altura, tienen bodegas, porches en la planta baja y cubiertas a dos aguas, sobre la calle, con aleros y voladizo, de tipología medieval, y tejados de teja árabe. Los revestimientos de las fachadas y los interiores se encuentran muy deteriorados. Esta calle que parece "cul de sac", tiene salida por dos calles porticadas, por debajo de los arcos medievales.
