Alfajarín es una localidad y municipio de Aragón . De acuerdo al INE, en 2020 contaba con una población de 2339 habitantes.[3] En su término municipal se encuentran las pedanías de El Condado y Los Huertos.
El término Alfajarín procede del árabe y significa «alfareros», equivalente a Alfafar y Alfahar por confusión de los fonemas de la -j-h-f y que están presentes en otras localidades de tradición morisca de la antigua corona de Aragón. También se traduciría como «los canteros» según M. J. Viguera.[4]
