Lanjarón es un municipio y localidad española de la provincia de Granada, en la comunidad autónoma de Andalucía. Se sitúa en la parte occidental de la Alpujarra Granadina, a unos 45 km de la capital provincial, en el sureste de la península ibérica. Limita con los municipios de Órgiva, Vélez de Benaudalla, El Pinar, Lecrín, Nigüelas, Dúrcal, Dílar, Capileira, Bubión, Pampaneira, Soportújar y Cáñar. Gran parte del término municipal, cuya población asciende a 3612 habitantes , se encuentra en el parque nacional de Sierra Nevada.
