Esta es una de las 3 áreas de picnic a lo largo de la Vía verde de la Sierra . Está ubicado en la antigua estación de Coripe donde también hay una cafetería y un lugar para dormir.
La Vía Verde de la Sierra discurre a lo largo de 36 km al pie de las montañas más meridionales de España, entre las localidades de Olvera y Puerto Serrano . Es un lecho de ferrocarril nunca usado con 30 túneles y 4 puentes.
Además de las 4 estaciones, hay 3 merenderos en el recorrido.
Un poco más hacia Olvera se encuentra el parque natural 'Peñón de Zaframagón' donde vive la mayor colonia de buitres leonados de Europa.
