Bornos conserva una bella estatua monumental del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.
La estatua es de tamaño natural y descansa sobre una base cuadrada en el centro de la plaza. Es de piedra clara y representa a Jesucristo con túnica y manto, la cabeza está rematada por una corona de metal. Sus brazos están ligeramente separados de su cuerpo con las manos extendidas para expresar "bienvenida e invitación".
En la Plaza Mayor se encuentra la estatua del Sagrado Corazón, que alberga también el Ayuntamiento de Ribera y el Castillo de Buda y frente a la iglesia parroquial. Dicen que la estatua fue colocada alrededor de 1953, tenía una linterna y el artista era un extranjero llamado Brito .
