Las islas Aland[1][2] [3][4] es un archipiélago y provincia autónoma de Finlandia situado en el mar Báltico, entre Suecia y Finlandia. La población de las islas era de 28 983 habitantes a 31 de diciembre de 2015,[5] de los cuales 11 461 viven en la capital, Mariehamn . El único idioma oficial es el sueco, y el 93,5 % de la población lo habla como lengua materna .
