Con sus hoteles del siglo XV al XVIII colgantes sobre el agua, Ornans, la ciudad natal de Gustave Courbet, es a veces llamada la pequeña Venecia de Franche-Comté. La casa natal del pintor, revolucionario en el ámbito artístico y político, es ahora un museo.
