En el monasterio cartujo de Campmol había una obra maestra de la escultura, hecha por Claus Sluter. Era conocida como el Pozo de Moisés (1395). Según algunas fuentes, Jan van Eyck habría visto esta obra aquí. La escultura mostraba un gran realismo. El grupo de esculturas de piedra arenisca muestra 4 profetas que llevan una cruz sobre una fuente. El monasterio donde se encontraba fue fundado por el duque de Borgoña.
