El Parque Barbieux (o de Barbieux) está reconocido como uno de los parques urbanos más bellos de Francia.
Creado cuando se abandonó un proyecto de canal subterráneo en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, el Parque Barbieux es un auténtico jardín a la inglesa de 34 hectáreas.
Este extraordinario entorno verde presume de una extraordinaria diversidad natural.
Además de sus 60 especies de árboles y sus juegos de agua, que invitan a la fauna, el parque ofrece un magnífico sendero para pasear.
Lugar de ocio y relajación, también cuenta con un parque infantil y una zona de petanca.
Conocido cariñosamente como "Le Beau Jardin" por los habitantes de Roubaix, este lugar catalogado ha recibido la etiqueta de "Jardín Notable".
En la oficina de turismo se organizan visitas guiadas regulares.
