En el corazón de Tonnerre, la Fosse Dionne es un manantial del Vaucluse con un caudal variado pero perpetuo. Fue convertido en lavadero en 1758 por el padre del Caballero de Éon. El Fosse Dionne siempre ha intrigado y las primeras exploraciones se remontan al siglo XIX. Sin embargo, ha guardado su secreto: el origen del manantial. Fruto de un complejo curso de exsurgencias y resurgencias, este manantial forma una cuenca en cuyo fondo podemos ver el inicio de una galería. La ruta conocida conduce a 360 m de la boca y a una profundidad de 61 m. La Fosse Dionne es tan intrigante y misteriosa que ha dado lugar a muchas leyendas: la serpiente basilisco, las monedas del diablo y muchas otras...
