Situada en el corazón de la región del Valle del Aisne, esta necrópolis francesa de la Gran Guerra de 36.400 m², construida en 1923, es la más grande de Picardía.
Contiene 10.601 cuerpos, 3.076 de ellos en osarios, procedentes de cementerios militares situados al suroeste de Soissons. También contiene las tumbas de un soldado ruso, un danés y setenta y seis víctimas civiles francesas.
La entrada es gratuita.
La necrópolis se encuentra en la RN31, cerca del cruce de Pontarcher, en la ruta Soissons Compiègne
