En las proximidades de Dol de Bretagne se encuentra el mayor menhir de Bretaña, con una longitud de 8,7 metros, una altura de casi 10 y un peso de alrededor de 100 toneladas.
Existen muchas leyendas e historias sobre esta piedra, por ejemplo
"Está a un cuarto de milla de la ciudad a la famosa piedra del campo-Dolent. Este nombre recuerda a los sacrificios humanos (donar)? Mi guía me dijo en serio que fue colocada allí por Julio César. ¿Estuvo alguna vez en los bosques? Ahora está en medio de un campo desbrozado. Este menhir tiene veintiocho pies de alto y termina en una punta; en la base medí ocho pies de diámetro. En total, es un bloque de granito grisáceo con un cono ligeramente aplanado."
