Castillo renacentista construido en esquisto azul, restaurado a finales del siglo XIX por René de Tocqueville, quien también creó los jardines que lo rodean, con un invernadero en forma de rotonda y juegos de agua.
Esta finca de 18 hectáreas, propiedad de la ciudad de Cherburgo desde 1935, fue declarada Monumento Histórico en 1996.
Lugar ideal para pasear y descubrir sus jardines y espacios naturales, el parque ostenta la etiqueta de Jardin Remarquable desde 2004.
