Pinturas y esculturas de la Edad Media y el Renacimiento. El museo acoge una colección excepcional de pinturas italianas (colección Campana, depósito del Museo del Louvre) y provenzales de fines del siglo XIII y comienzos del XVI, y una colección de esculturas románicas y góticas de Aviñón.
El museo del Pequeño Palacio es uno de los grandes museos europeos de arte medieval. Certificado Museo de Francia, también está clasificado en el Patrimonio Mundial de la Unesco.
