El Palacio Brongniart, encargado por Napoleón, debe su nombre al arquitecto Alexandre Théodore Brongniart (1808-1825). Inaugurado el 4 de noviembre de 1826, fue la sede de la Bolsa de París durante casi ciento cincuenta años. Abandonada por los agentes de bolsa durante muchos años, la Bolsa cesó su actividad en 1987. En la actualidad, el recinto alberga una galería dedicada a la historia de la Bolsa. Diseñado por A. Brongniart, el Palacio no está abierto al público desde 2008.
