Es el monumento más antiguo del centro histórico de Nancy y el único vestigio de las fortificaciones medievales. Símbolo actual del barrio de la Ciudad Vieja, fue construido en los siglos XIV y XV y sus torres se utilizaron como prisión hasta el siglo XIX. Su bóveda de ladrillo y piedra, restaurada en 2013, es bastante notable
Sólo se puede ver desde el exterior.
