Le Grand Saint Marc está situado en Vendôme, a 2 km del centro de la ciudad y cerca de los comercios. Antiguo priorato de monjes benedictinos, en el siglo XIX pasó a ser propiedad de ricos burgueses y aristócratas, que hicieron construir allí una "Maison de plaisance". Completamente rodeado de murallas, el parque ocupa una superficie de 4,4 hectáreas. Extensamente arbolado, incluye un estanque y arroyos, un huerto, un huerto frutal, un pequeño viñedo, un invernadero modelo 1900, huertas, etc. Las habitaciones de huéspedes se encuentran en una granja renacentista: la suite Pierre de Ronsard, el apartamento Joachim du Bellay y la habitación Antoine de Baïf. Han sido diseñadas para combinar confort y autenticidad.
