Le Grand Saint Marc ligt in Vendôme, op 2 km van het stadscentrum en dicht bij de winkels. Ooit was het een priorij voor Benedictijner monniken, maar in de 19e eeuw werd het eigendom van rijke bourgeoisie en aristocraten, die er een "Maison de plaisance" lieten bouwen. Het park is volledig ommuurd en beslaat een oppervlakte van 4,4 hectare. Het is uitgebreid bebost en bevat een vijver en beekjes, een boomgaard, een moestuin, een fruitboomgaard, een kleine wijngaard, een modelkas uit 1900, tuinderijen, enz. De gastenkamers zijn ondergebracht in een renaissance boerderij: de Pierre de Ronsard suite, de Joachim du Bellay flat en de Antoine de Baïf kamer. Ze zijn ontworpen om comfort en authenticiteit te combineren.
