En el origen de la hostelería de lujo, el Hôtel Meurice de Calais, el primero de su clase, existe desde 1771. El edificio original fue destruido durante la última guerra. Reconstruido en 1954-1955, el Meurice de Calais le ofrece un marco, un ambiente, un encanto en el centro de la ciudad, tanto cerca de la estación como a 5 minutos de la playa.
