Construido en estilo Luis XIII por Jean-Jérôme Molé a partir de 1673, consta de un edificio principal y pabellones cuadrangulares que enmarcan cada una de las fachadas. En las esquinas del patio se conservan dos pabellones de tiza más antiguos, bañados por el agua del foso.
Un siglo después de su construcción, fue vendido al antepasado de los actuales propietarios y la familia Bonamy de Villemereuil lo ocupa desde entonces. La composición general y el destino original del edificio se han alterado muy poco, y la distribución interior responde a la obra de sus constructores.
Declarado Monumento Histórico en octubre de 1971, es propiedad privada. Abierto al público durante las Jornadas Europeas del Patrimonio
