La meseta de Iraty-Cize ofrece un paisaje moldeado durante miles de años por el agua, el pastoreo y la silvicultura. Verdadera puerta de entrada al macizo de Iraty y a su bosque (el mayor hayedo de Europa), se encuentra aquí en la encrucijada de tres de las siete provincias del País Vasco.
Tanto si es usted un excursionista, un ciclista de montaña o un campista, podrá disfrutar de las tres rutas de senderismo que comienzan en esta meseta. Siguiendo el río Iraty, podrá descubrir la historia de esta mítica montaña a través del sendero de interpretación Erreka Idorra, en el corazón del bosque de Iraty. El Chalet de Cize, punto de información y sitio temático sobre el pastoreo, le invita a descubrir el mundo de los pastores trashumantes, a degustar sus quesos y a compartir un momento con ellos durante los numerosos eventos de verano.
