Es en Brassempouy que ha sido descubierta en 1894, la celebra " Dama a la capucha ", una figurina tallada de marfil de mamut hace 25,000 años y considerada como la representación más antigua de una cara humana . Hoy, la Casa de la Dama le invita a explorar esta historia fabulosa y comprender la vida cotidiana de los hombres prehistóricos de Paleolítico Superior (35,000 / 10,000). A su lado, el ArcheoParc de la Dame recrea paisajes, animales y gestos de la prehistoria: tamaño de pedernal, caza, producción de incendios ... Una aplicación de recorrido digital completa esta aventura siguiendo los pasos de Cro-Magnon . Durante las vacaciones, jóvenes y viejos son invitados a participar en talleres: escultura de la Dama, música prehistórica, arte, arte de la pared ...
