Situado exactamente encima de la iglesia monolítica, fue construido entre el siglo XII y el XV. La punta de la aguja alcanza los 68 metros sobre la plaza del mercado, lo que lo convierte en el campanario más alto de la Gironde después del de Saint-Michel en Burdeos. La ascensión de los 196 escalones te permite dominar toda la ciudad de Saint-Emilion y su fabuloso viñedo.
