Desde este puente se pueden ver las casas sobre pilotes que dominan los Saleys. Aunque el Saleys esté canalizado con buen tiempo, el agua puede alcanzar excepcionalmente el nivel de los arcos del puente
Enfrente, la iglesia de Saint-Vincent, dominada por su campanario, antigua torre de vigilancia. Junto con las fortificaciones, formaba parte del sistema defensivo de la ciudad.
A pocos pasos, en la calle des Puits Salants, el Museo de la Sal cuenta la historia de Salies; se ha reconstruido un taller de salineros.
