Vanaf deze brug ziet u de huizen op palen die uitkijken over de Saleys. Zelfs als de Saleys bij goed weer wordt gekanaliseerd, kan het water bij uitzondering het niveau van de brugbogen bereiken
Aan de overkant de kerk Saint-Vincent, gedomineerd door de klokkentoren, een voormalige wachttoren. Samen met de vestingwerken maakte het deel uit van het verdedigingssysteem van de stad.
Een paar stappen verder, in de rue des Puits Salants, vertelt het Zoutmuseum de geschiedenis van Salies; er is een zoutziederij gereconstrueerd.
