El lago es poco profundo y sus aguas son tranquilas y transparentes, así que puede bañarse toda la familia con plena seguridad. Playa vigilada de julio a septiembre. En el ayuntamiento y en la oficina de turismo se publica la calidad del agua del lago. Está prohibido el acceso y la presencia de animales domésticos de abril a septiembre en las playas y las aguas del lago desde el puerto de l'Estey hasta la playa de Broustaricq.
