En el valle de los Reyes, entre Beauce y Sologne, la villa milenaria de Beaugency, catalogada como uno de los 100 recorridos más bellos de Francia, ha sabido preservar todo encanto de una espléndida ciudad medieval. De su esplendoroso pasado subsisten un torreón del siglo XI, conocido como la Torre César –accesible con visitas guiadas–, un puente legendario, y el ayuntamiento y sus magníficas colgaduras bordadas del siglo XVII.
