Construida por los Condes de Toulouse cuando los mismos eran igual de potentes que el rey de Francia, la Fortaleza de Najac es un ejemplo que apasionará a los pequeños y mayores sobre todos los trucos y estratagemas del arte militar de la defensa. Un importante maqueta permite entender el sistema incomparable de defensa elaborado del siglo XIII por Alphonse de Poitiers. Declarado Monumento Histórico.
