Description

Construida en la primera mitad del siglo XII, en las fronteras del ducado de Lorena y del condado de Champaña, la abadía de Sainte-Marie de Mureau dependía de la orden premostratense y era un importante lugar de intercambio. En particular, albergaba una biblioteca con más de 4.600 volúmenes (que ahora se conserva en la biblioteca de Neufchâteau). En la actualidad, sólo quedan algunos restos, como la puerta de la abadía, reconstruida en 1683 y consolidada en 2019.

El pueblo de Pargny-sous-Mureau alberga
- una capilla dedicada a San Quirin construida en 1669
- una iglesia del siglo XVIII renovada en 2012
- un lavadero del siglo XIX con una capilla original
- fuentes y calvarios, incluido uno del siglo XVI
