Para llegar al puerto de Soussans, hay que seguir una carretera bastante recta entre los viñedos antes de llegar a las marismas y las orillas de la Gironda.
Desde aquí se accede a una pequeña zona tranquila y pintoresca con una vista privilegiada de la ría: la Isla Verde y la Isla Norte en la línea de visión ofrecen un espectáculo natural y cotidiano. Dependiendo del tiempo o incluso de la temporada, cada día es una nueva imagen que descubrir.
Puede aprovechar este momento para tomar un descanso en una de las mesas de picnic.
Si su mirada se dirige naturalmente hacia el agua, sólo tiene que abrir un poco más su campo de visión para observar el castillo de Fumadelle (a la derecha del puerto) que nos cuenta la conmovedora historia de la isla de Fumadelle adosada a la costa.
