Per raggiungere il porto di Soussans, bisogna seguire una strada abbastanza dritta tra i vigneti prima di raggiungere le paludi e le rive della Gironda.
Da qui si accede a una piccola area tranquilla e pittoresca con una vista privilegiata sull'estuario: l'Isola Verde e l'Isola del Nord in linea d'aria offrono uno spettacolo naturale e quotidiano. A seconda del tempo o della stagione, ogni giorno è un nuovo quadro da scoprire.
Potete approfittare di questo momento per fare una pausa in uno dei tavoli da picnic.
Se lo sguardo si rivolge naturalmente verso l'acqua, basta aprire un po' di più il campo visivo per osservare il castello di Fumadelle (a destra del porto) che ci racconta la storia commovente dell'isola di Fumadelle attaccata alla costa.
