En 1923 se inauguró el monumento de piedra arenisca rosa de los Vosgos, situado en la plaza del 86ème R.I. frente al Ayuntamiento.
Este conjunto es obra del arquitecto Deville, las esculturas de bronce son de Vallin. Consiste en un hemiciclo bellamente elaborado, cuya columna central está coronada por un farol para los muertos. Los nombres de los 350 muertos de Baccarat, víctimas de la guerra de 1914-1918, están inscritos en la parte central calada.
